Marysville man burned in fire, airlifted to Harborview

MARYSVILLE - Marysville Fire District personnel were dispatched at about 2 p.m., Saturday, May 9, to a man on fire in the 5400 block of 107th Place NE in Marysville. A few minutes later, they received an additional call from the same residence requesting a full residential fire response.
Upon arrival, crews found a 47-year-old male with burns on his torso and face. Airlift was called and the Marysville man was transported to a landing zone at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Airlift flew him to Harborview Hospital.
Crews quickly put out the fire in the 24-x-24 foot garage.
Crews from Marysville and Getchell Fire responded.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigation. Damage to the structure and contents is estimated at $15,000.
