Car crashes into Marysville Restaurant

The Marysville Police Department was dispatched to the Saigon Garden Restaurant, 10031 Shoultes Road in Marysville, on May 7, at approximately 2:30 a.m., for a vehicle verses structure collision. When the officers arrived they discovered a late model SUV inside the building. The investigation disclosed that the driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old female Marysville resident had driven eastbound from the parking lot through the front of the building. Once inside the building the vehicle turned southbound and continued through the business, through a wall and into another business. Marysville Police located the driver inside the business.
Both business sustained significant damage. No one was injured inside the building.
The female sustained no visible injuries. She was transported to Colby Campus for precautionary reasons. She was arrested for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated and booked into Marysville Jail.
Marysville Police recommend that if you drink do not drive. Find a designated driver or an alternate form of transportation.
The Investigation of this collision is being conducted by the Marysville Police Department Traffic Unit.
