Tulalip fire destroys travel trailer, carport and shed

TULALIP - At approximately 10:20 a.m., Friday, April 24, Marysville Fire crews were dispatched to a residential fire in the 7200 block of 14th Avenue NE. A plume of smoke could be seen from several miles away. Upon their arrival, the first arriving crews found a travel trailer (approximately 28 feet by 8 feet), shed and carport fully engulfed in flames. A ladder truck, three engines and three medic/aid units worked quickly to protect the home from the flames and smoke Approximately 23 emergency crew members responded, including Tulalip Police officer.

The trailer, shed and carport were a total loss.

The residents and cats escaped without harm and were not displaced.
