The Marysville Police Department will be holding a public notification meeting to release information regarding a Level II Sex Offender residing within the city limits of Marysville.

Richard Earl Dockery has registered as a sex offender with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, and will be residing in the 4900 Block of 61st Street NE, Marysville. Dockery is a 44 year old black male who is approximately 5’10” and 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown colored eyes.

The public meeting will be held Tuesday March 3, beginning at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Marysville Public Safety Building located at 1635 Grove St.

According to records Dockery was convicted of seven counts of Rape of a Child in the 3rd Degree and was given a term of 60 months in prison.

This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is the Marysville Police Department's belief that an informed public is a safer public. Level II Sex Offenders are those offenders whose risk assessments indicate a moderate risk of re-offense within the community at large.
