MARYSVILLE — A Marysville school bus was involved in an accident. No students were on the bus.

According to Jodi Runyon with the Marysville School District, the bus was heading eastbound on Highway 528 near Allen Creek Elementary School. A plumbing van, bound in the same direction in the faster inside lane, allegedly turned right across the outside lane and into the path of the bus.

"We anticipate that there's about $15,000 worth of damage to the bus and it was totaled," Runyon said.

The bus driver will be checked out, but neither driver was transported to the hospital. No additional information was available about the driver of the van.
