City seeks citizen to fill Salary Commission vacancy

MARYSVILLE — The city of Marysville is seeking a citizen to fill a vacancy on its salary commission, an independent seven-member commission that conducts annual reviews of compensation for its elected mayor and city council members.

The successful candidate will replace Andrew Sandoval, who served the limit of two three-year terms on the commission.

Candidates must be citizens of Marysville. Please submit a letter of interest, in care of Assistant Administrative Services Director Tracy Jeffries, to Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Ave., Marysville, WA 98270. Deadline to submit letters is 5 p.m. Dec. 1. For more information, please contact City Hall at 360-363-8075.

The salary commission is scheduled to meet annually between January and March.
