MARYSVILLE — Police still are looking for help in nabbing the suspect who attempted to lure two girls, both 13, into his SUV on Sept. 13.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office last week released a police drawing of the suspect. He is described as white, in his 20s or 30s, skinny, with short spiky hair. He was further said to be clean-shaven and tanned.
The incident happened in 5900 block of 100th Street NE in the Marysville area.
According to Sheriff’s Office Public Information Office Rebecca Hover, the victims told police they were walking westbound on the street when the suspect, driving a newer, red SUV, stopped behind them, rolled down a window and offered them cash if they would get into his vehicle.
The girls ran off and the suspect drove away eastbound on 100th Street.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 425-388-3845.
