County extends closure of 51st Avenue NE

MARYSVILLE — The Snohomish County Public Works department has extended the closure of 51st Avenue NE through Oct. 3.

Contractor Strider Construction was given permission by the county to close the street between 121st Street NE and 123rd Street NE.

The company is in the midst of restoring a culvert in connection with county efforts to improve the intersection of 51st Avenue and 122nd Place NE.

A detour will remain in effect for all vehicles, including school buses and emergency service crews.
