MONROE The Monroe Community Concert Band aspires to be a 50-piece band and is in need of flutes, clarinets, bass and alto clarinets, saxophone, bassoon, French horns, trombone, all percussionists and drum players.
The coordinator of the effort, David Pallo, is seeking participants with any amount of musical experience, no matter how long ago.
Anyone who played in junior or senior high school or in college is encouraged to join us having fun playing music, he said.
You can do it again. Its just like riding a bike.
The new band meets Thursdays from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Good Hope Fellowship Church, 1016 Main St. in Monroe.
For information call Pallo at 425-335-5239 or email him at dpallo@earthlink.net.
