In the sunshine at the park they helped renovate, Marysville Noon Rotary President Gordy Bjorg accepts a plaque Nov. 5 from Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall in honor of the Rotarys work in revamping Jennings Memorial Park. With the aid of the Rotary and several local businesses, the park received a makeover including new archways or pergolas, benches, a walkway and other amenities. Donations funded the entire $74, 450 project. Local businesses involved included Belmark Homes, The Jay Group, Edge Concrete and Burke-Darrow.
