Former mayor poses for PAWS

Ocean Shores City Manager Dave Weiser (former Marysville mayor) poses in the buff with Jake for the 2007 PAWS calendar. Now in its third year as a fundraiser for the no-kill animal shelter, next years calendar features a nude, or mostly nude, prominent man from Ocean Shores each month. Lorna Valdez, who organized the PAWS calendar said that the men who posed were all very cooperative but that Weiser was among the hardest to convince. Theyve been after me to do it for a while, Weiser told The North Coast News. My youngest son has been involved with PAWS and for him, I decided I would do it. The PAWS calendar sells for $10 and is available at several locations in Ocean Shores.
