MARYSVILLE The public is invited to an open house on May 9 to share ideas for programming they would like to see on the citys cable access television stations.
The open house will be 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 in the Council Chambers, 2nd floor in City Hall, 1049 State Ave.
The Marysville Cable Television Advisory Committee is seeking input to develop current, short-term and long-term programming needs for the citys two operating access channels, Government Access Channel 21 and Educational Access Channel 26, the latter of which is run by designated access provider Marysville-Pilchuck High Schools video production program. Lee Phillips and Carmen Rasmussen serve as City Council liaisons to the Mayor Dennis Kendalls television advisory committee.
Comcast provides cable television service throughout most of Marysville, while Wave Broadband serves the Lakewood neighborhood west of Interstate 5.
For more information call Channel 21 Coordinator Doug Buell at 360-363-8086.
