Kryger named outstanding educator
August 28, 2008 · Updated 8:56 AM
Lakewood Middle School teacher Tasha Kryger received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Lakewood Middle School Parent Teacher and Students Association. She received the award for taking the extra step to connect with the kids she helps to educate. Kryger was nominated for all the little things she does for kids, including working well with all students, and handling situations appropriately and honestly. She is seen as being cool, a best friend for the kids always having time to listen to their worries or concerns. In addition to a certificate and pin, a donation has been made in Krygers name by the LMS PTSA to the Washington PTA Scholarship fund.
