CVHF presents The Ultimate Gift

ARLINGTON ?A major motion picture starring James Garner, Brian Dennehy and Drew Fuller will not be in theaters until March 2007, but supporters of Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation will have a chance to preview the film Jan. 11, at the Olympic Theatre in Arlington.
This is a unique opportunity for us to thank current donors who have continued to keep the tradition of giving alive and well at Cascade Valley Hospital & Clinics, said Joan Miles, CVHF Director.
Based on the internationally-acclaimed book The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall, this movie is a simple, yet profound story, Miles said.
A wealthy man passes away, leaving to his grandson an incredible inheritance. Rather than just giving him money, he gives him 12 challenging gifts that are truly important in life and worth more than any trust fund.
These are, in fact, the lessons of charity, friendship, laughter, dreams, and an overall appreciation of what is truly important in life.
The Ultimate Gift is more than a book or a movie, Miles said.
Its a way of life that helps us realize that our most important asset is the life we live.
As a Private Preview host, we are proud to be able to share this movie, and introduce The Ultimate Gift message to our hospital staff, volunteers, families, friends and our community members. We hope you find the message as inspiring as we have,?she added.
The CVHFs goal is to share The Ultimate Gift with as many people as possible and deliver the message that in the end, life lived to its fullest is its own ultimate gift. A few tickets are still available for $10 each at the Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation office.
