MPD to hold sex offenders notification meeting

MARYSVILLE The Marysville Police Department will be holding a public notification meeting to release information regarding Level III Sex Offenders residing within the city limits of Marysville.
The public meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 19, beginning at 7 p.m. and will be held on the second floor of the Marysville Public Safety Building located at 1635 Grove St.
David C. Stout has registered as a sex offender with the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office, and will be residing in the 4900 block of 61st Street NE., Marysville. Stout is a 28-year-old white male who is approximately 6-2 and 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue colored eyes.
Stout was convicted of First Degree Child Molestation in Snohomish County in 1999. The victims in this incident were 7- and 10-year-old brothers who did not know Stout prior to the evening of the sexual assaults occurring. Stout was staying the night with acquaintances he had met only weeks before, on the same night the two victims were also staying in the residence. The assault occurred this same evening after which both victims disclosed being molested. Stout admitted to police while being questioned that he had in fact molested both boys. He has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts and is not currently wanted by the police.
Timothy McKenna has registered as a sex offender with the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office, and will be residing in the 4900 block of 61st Street NE.,
Marysville. McKenna is a 54-year-old white male who is approximately 5-11 and 170 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel colored eyes.
McKenna was convicted of First Degree Child Rape in Spokane County in 1996. The victim in this incident was his 6-year-old stepdaughter who he sexually assaulted on two occasions in 1993 and 1995. In addition, McKenna has prior convictions for Second and Third Degree Rape. The victim in these incidents was a 16-year-old female who was a stranger to him. The victim had flagged McKenna down and asked for a ride home. He drove her to a rural location and physically assaulted her before sexually assaulting her. While in sex-offender treatment he disclosed a total of 20 victims. McKenna has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts and is not currently wanted by the police.
Eugenio Fernandez has registered as a sex offender with the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office, and will be residing in the 4900 block of 61st Street NE., Marysville. Fernandez is a 39-year-old Hispanic male who is approximately 5-4 and 151 pounds. He has brown hair and brown colored eyes.
Fernandez was convicted of First Degree Rape in Cowlitz County in 1988. The victim in this incident was a 17-year-old female who was a stranger to Fernandez. Fernandez broke into the home of the victim while she was sleeping. He physically assaulted her and threatened to kill her. He attempted to tie her hands with a black cord that he brought with him, but was unable to do so. He then sexually assaulted her. Fernandez has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts and is not currently wanted by the police.
This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public. Level III Sex Offenders are those offenders whose risk assessments indicate a High risk of re-offense within the community at large.
