M'ville teachers approve contract

MARYSVILLE – Marysville School District teachers approved their contract in a vote Aug. 27.

Union president Randy Davis said the contract was approved "overwhelmingly."

He did not want to give exact numbers of the vote or any details of the contract because the school board still needs to ratify the contract Sept. 2.

Davis said 323 teachers voted on the pact, which is about half of the Marysville Education Association membership, he added.
