Marysville-Pilchuck and Lakewood went undefeated and won their respective leagues last year, but both lost in the first round of the state playoffs.

Both hope to do even better this year.

Arlington went 5-5 in Class 4A last year, but is dropping down to 3A this year and will be taking on rivals M-P and Marysville Getchell, which also hopes to improve upon a 5-5 season in 2013.

Tulalip plays 8-man football and with a big turnout hopes for a good season.
