Inclement weather forces cancellation of Marysville's Multicultural Fair

The outdoor Marysville Multicultural Fair planned for Saturday, Sept. 28, in Comeford Park has been cancelled due to inclement rainy and windy weather that is forecasted throughout the day. This decision was made in the interests of safety for fair-goers, vendors, performers, volunteers and everyone involved in this first-time diversity celebration.

The National Weather Service over the next three days forecasts a series of vigorous and wet storm hitting our area with winds ranging from 15-30 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph, and heavy rain of 1.5-3 inches.

The City of Marysville, Diversity Advisory Committee and Marysville Arts Coalition hope to reschedule this event indoors in early May 2014.
