MARYSVILLE The Marysville Dog Owners Group

(M-DOG) meet at 7:30 p.m., May 21, at the Marysville Public Library, 6120 Grove St.

The organization hopes to discuss the potential of an off-leash area in the city, according to the group's Leslie Buell.

"We are seeking dog-loving members to volunteer to serve on the M-DOG board of directors, which requires a minimal amount of commitment of your time and energy," Buell said. "Our non-profit group also is seeking donations to support development of an off-lease park site, wherever that may be."

To contribute or for more information call 360-651-0633 or send donations to PMB 245 1506 Sixth St., Marysville, WA, 98270. You also may visit the group's Web site at www.poochapalooza.org.
