Marysville police recover homicide victim's vehicle

MARYSVILLE — The 2006 Chevy Colorado pickup truck belonging to the victim of Friday's homicide was recovered Friday night in the 24300 block of 19th Avenue, in Arlington.It had been set on fire.

At about 10:45 p.m. last night the North County Regional Fire Authority responded to what was originally reported to be a house fire, but responding firefighters found only the burning vehicle. Snohomish County Sheriff's Office deputies also responded and discovered the vehicle was part of the homicide investigation, according to Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux of the Marysville Police Department. Marysville detectives along with the Snohomish County Fire Marshall responded to the call and collected evidence to that could be linked to the homicide. The vehicle was impounded for further processing of evidence.

The homicide investigation is on-going.
