Pedestrian hit on Firetrail Rd. Aug. 18

MARYSVILLE — A 60-year-old female pedestrian from Stanwood was hit by a car on Saturday, Aug. 18, at approximately 9:15 p.m., near the intersection of Firetrail Road and 34th Avenue NE in Marysville.

The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and crossed the road in an unlit area where there is no crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and rendered aid to the woman until medical aid units arrived.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver. The pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center where she was listed as being in serious condition.
