MARYSVILLE — Earlier this week, all criminal charges against Susan Kush were formally dropped in Marysville Municipal Court.

Kush was originally charged with theft in the third degree, criminal trespass in the second degree and animal cruelty in the second degree as a result of the theft of Takoda, a Siberian husky, from its yard in Marysville on Sept. 24 of this year.

"Following the original arrest, investigators obtained additional information from Ms. Kush and other individuals that led us to believe that Ms. Kush was not responsible for the theft of Takoda," Marysville Police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said. "All charges were dropped and we are continuing to investigate the case."
