MARYSVILLE – City Parks and Recreation officials announced on Friday, March 11 that Strawberry Fields in north Marysville will be closed for several days due to ground saturation from sustained rainfall.

The closure applies to the soccer fields, off-leash dog park, flying disc golf course and walking trails, which have become muddy and inaccessible. As part of the closure of the park located at 6100 152nd St. NE, the Parks Department will be installing a new irrigation system to improve drainage for the soccer fields.

Closed signs have been posted at the park entrance.

Check this website and the city's website for the latest information regarding reopening of the park, or call the Parks Office at 360-363-8400.
