UPDATE | Marysville announces road closures

MARYSVILLE - The city of Marysville has announced icy conditions have closed several roads. In addition, city sanitation crews will only be providing Tuesday service in some parts of the city.

UPDATE: 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23

The following roads are currently closed, but expected to open late morning - 71st Avenue from 40th Street to Soper Hill Road, 67th Avenue from 52nd to 71st, 52nd Street from 67th to 73rd, Grove Street from 73rd to 76th, 77th Street from 72nd to 81st Avenue and Getchell Hill Road (84th) from 67th to 82nd.

Waste Management NW is not picking up recyclables today. City of Marysville Sanitation Crews are providing Tuesday garbage service in flatter areas of the city only. Areas where road hazards exist, and some cul-de-sacs and hilly areas, will not be picked up. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday's pickup for garbage and recycling will be done on Friday and Friday's pickups will be done on Saturday.
