Marysville School Board candidates 'meet and greet' public before interviews Oct. 4.

MARYSVILLE — Candidates for the Marysville School District Board of Directors will be available for a "meet and greet" prior to their interviews by the current Board members before an abbreviated Board meeting Oct. 4.
Director District 4 candidates Wendy Fryberg and Sue Rasmussen, and Director District 5 candidates Tom Albright and Corinne Diteman, have been selected for Board interviews, which will start at 6:15 a.m., 15 minutes earlier than the regular Board meeting time. The "meet and greet" will run from 5:30-6 p.m., while the abbreviated Board meeting is set to start at 8:15 p.m. The Board is also scheduled convene an executive session at 9 p.m.
The Strawberry Room of the Marysville School District Service Center, located at 4220 80th St. NE, will host the "meet and greet," while the candidate interviews will take place in the Service Center's Board Room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
