As rain, wind and chilly temperatures plagued Western Washington on Saturday, April 13, hundreds of participants from around Snohomish County withstood the weather to complete the Walk MS in support of those with multiple sclerosis — a disease which, like rain, is more prevalent in the Pacific Northwest.

In spite of the day’s cold downpour, the annual Spring Craft Show at the Ken Baxter Community Center drew an estimated 1,000 attendees on April 13, with double the number of vendors to meet them compared to the previous year.

MARYSVILLE — Jennings Park drew an estimated 500 children, and almost as many parents, for the annual free Fishing Derby presented by the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club, the city of Marysville's Parks and Recreation Department, and the Marysville Kiwanis Club on Saturday, May 4.
