Register now for Marysville Goodwill’s free classes

MARYSVILLE — Marysville Goodwill’s Job Training and Education Center, located at 9315 State Ave., is now registering people for free classes in the eight-week session that runs from Aug. 10 through Oct. 1. These courses teach those with significant barriers to employment valuable skills to find and keep jobs.

Classes fill up fast, and sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis, so contact the center soon to reserve your spot!

The following classes will be offered:

* English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): Basic, Intermediate and Literacy classes for adults who are learning or want to learn English.

* Basic Computer Classes: Introductory courses for people with very little or no computer experience. Information includes basic Windows tools, basic Word documents, files and folders, the Internet and email.

o Computer Fundamentals

o Microsoft Word

o Microsoft Excel
