Beginner and intermediate kettlebell workouts through Parks & Rec

MARYSVILLE — Marysville Parks and Recreation is offering beginner and intermediate kettlebell workout classes to help people get in shape quickly and effectively.

A kettlebell is a round weight with a handle at the top, and in just two short, 30-minute classes per week, kettlebell workout participants will gain lean muscle mass and flexibility.

Classes include cardio for a well-rounded routine and take place at Totem Middle School, located at 1605 Seventh St., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 7-28, at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for a fee of $42.
