ARLINGTON — The Rotary Club of Arlington is sponsoring a year-long exchange for high school students as part of the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. The Arlington Club has sponsored Sandra Maroto Lombao from Madrid, Spain, for the 2012-13 school year and sent Samantha Arndt, a sophomore from Lakewood High School, to France for a year.

For high school students interested in a year-long exchange, applications for 2013-14 are being accepted until Friday, Nov. 2, for students at Arlington, Lakewood, and Darrington high schools. For applications, see your high school exchange counselor, or download them online at www.clubrunner.ca/Data/5050/262/HTML/178806//RotaryExchange2013-14.pdf.

Families interested in hosting an exchange student for a short-term of two to three months should contact A.J. Chase, the Arlington Rotary exchange program chair, at 360-631-2484 to answer any questions they might have.
