MARYSVILLE — Marysville American Legion Post 178 will be conducting its annual flag retirement ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Jennings Park Pavilion at 11 a.m.

Attendees may witness the traditional methods of properly retiring old, faded and torn American flags.

American Legion Post 178 is located on the corner of Second Street and Cedar Avenue in Marysville.

The brightly painted mailbox at the front of the building is where members of the community may drop off their unserviceable flags for the Legion to retire appropriately.
