Marysville 'Ladies' Night Out,' jewelry show set for April 27

MARYSVILLE — The Ken Baxter Community Center will serve as the site for a "Ladies' Night Out" and jewelry show on Friday, April 27.

Ken Baxter Community Center Coordinator Maryke Burgess expects a "great turnout" for the handcrafted and commercial jewelry show "catering to ladies who love unique and classy pieces."

This event is set to run from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and promises a selection of items that Burgess believes would be appropriate for spring and summer events, including proms and Mother's Day.

"Mocktails" and appetizers will be provided, along with makeup demos by Mary Kay cosmetics, hand treatments by Lemongrass Spa and  event etiquette advice from Taylor'd Events by Jennifer. Wedding dresses will also be modeled by the "From the Gown Up" dress shop.
