ARLINGTON – Johnny Green and the Pack String organized Kornstock, a musical festival, last weekend to benefit the Arlington Food Bank.

The festival opened with the honky tonk Folsoms followed by the Wild Orchid Belly Dancing Troupe and ending with the classic rock band Crooked Mile.

Saturday’s country-music lineup started with the Harvey Creek Band singing a powerful version of the Star Spangled Banner. The Pack String followed with the Wild Turkeys ending the night.

The bands performed on the new stage at Legion Park. Huge fans cooled off the bands and their fans.

Food included a spaghetti feed by the American Legion, a hot dog vendor, pulled pork sandwiches and a beer garden.
