MARYSVILLE – Marcia Kester will perform her tribute to Patsy Cline at the Red Curtain July 13.

The show focuses on the life and music of Cline, and features a multi-media experience that allows Kester to “duet” with the country music legend. By incorporating video footage of Cline’s personal and private life, Kester helps the Nashville icon come to life on stage and at the microphone, although she is not a Cline impersonator. Tickets are $18.

The concert starts at 8 at the Red Curtain Arts Center, 9315 State Ave. #J.

The performance includes hand-picked songs from Cline’s greatest hits to her most cherished pieces… Kester, a one-woman show, takes the audience on a journey with beautiful vocals, entertains with delightful audience interactions and leaves you moved with snippets of story and facts about the life of the inspiring woman.

After suffering through years of drug and alcohol abuse, Kester pulled herself out of a tragic life through determination, education, and a fierce passion for music. Hers is a story of personal struggle and triumph, and the experience has rewarded her with a unique ability to connect with audiences as an entertainer and as an individual. Tickets are available at the door or by calling 360-322-7402.

Beer, wine and local baked goods are available for purchase.
