LAKEWOOD – The Cougars have announced their top academic students at year’s end.
Kimmy Epperson has earned a 3.98 grade point average while attending Lakewood High School and is the valedictorian for 2019. She has been involved in marching band, jazz, band, volleyball, basketball and track.
She also is a member of National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars.
Kimmy plans to finish at Everett Community College and transfer to Northwest University to study nursing.
Joseph Knoth is a co-salutatorian.
He has earned a 3.95 GPA in high school. Joseph has been involved with track, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America, Knowledge Bowl and
National Honor Society. He will be graduating simultaneously with his associate in science with high distinction from EvCC. Joseph plans to attend the University of
Washington in the fall where he will be studying mechanical engineering.
Jade Lundquist is the other co-salutatorian. Jade also has a 3.95 GPA at LHS. She has been a member of National Honor Society, is the treasurer and for three years has received a varsity letter in volunteerism from the
United Way of Snohomish County.
Jade also will be graduating with both her high school diploma and her associate in science with high distinction from EvCC.
