Grace Bible Church of Marysville is a teaching church, committed to the study of the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God.

Our head is the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible is our ultimate and sole authority for how we are to live our lives.

As we grow in the knowledge and application of God’s Word we are better able to reflect the life of Christ in all that we say and do for His glory and honor.

Our outreach to the community involves explaining the “Good News” (the gospel) of how men and women can be saved from the penalty of their sins and spend eternity in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our name describes our vision and our mission. Grace is central because it is by God’s grace that we exist.

He has seen fit to assemble this body of believers to exalt His Son, Jesus Christ–the One whose death and resurrection gives us peace with God and the hope of heaven.

Bible speaks of the Word of God given to us as a “lamp to our feet, and a light to our path.”

It is through the written Word of God that we are able to know His will for our lives. Church is paramount because it is God’s designation for the assembly of people called by His name.

Our course has been charted by God, our destiny has been planned by God and our purposes have been defined by God. Our Pastor/Teacher John Zimmer served on the administrative and pastoral staff of Grace Community Church with Pastor John MacArthur for 13 years.

The emphasis of Zimmer’s ministry is the expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word through a verse-be-verse exposition of Scripture.

Knowing that the Bible is the Word of God, totally sufficient and relevant for all time, his sermons pay particular attention to the historical, and grammatical aspects of each biblical passage.

Zimmer was called to be the Pastor/Teacher at Grace Bible Church of Marysville and has been faithfully expositing God’s Word for 25 years.

The ministries of Grace Bible Church exist for the express purpose of growing in our understanding of God’s Word so that we might know Him better, love Him more deeply and serve Him more effectively.

The result is a greater love for one another.
