ARLINGTON – The city swore in five new officers Oct. 15.

The department welcomed officers Shane Sharp, Dustin Bartlett, Rhonda Urton, Mike Ellis and Mike Knight, who combined bring over 50 years of law enforcement experience.

They were sworn in by City Attorney Steve Peiffle.

The officers are backfilling vacancies in the department, a testament to the mayor and City Council’s commitment to fully staff public safety, city officials said.
