MARYSVILLE – The first Splish Splash Summer Blast Wednesday at the Spray Park was a splashing success with hundreds of people, mostly little ones, participating.

Kids enjoyed face painting, putt putt golf, Marysville Jeopardy, the Spray Park, a fish bond, walker races, painting, swings and more. The Not-Its! performed. Kids young and old danced in the “Zone of Rock” close to the stage.

Parks director Jim Ballew said the turnout was great, especially considering the cloudy weather. He also thanked Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry for funding the event.
