Support bond, levy

I am writing in support of the school bond and levy election and urge a yes vote on both issues.

As a mom and active volunteer in the schools I’ve seen first-hand the need to improve facilities and realize that the current levy to support teachers and learning expires. Therefore, approval of a new replacement levy is imperative. Good news for all of us who pay taxes is that the district tax request is reduced from the current level.

In addition to my obvious interest as a parent I also urge support since good schools with stable funding is vitally important to the economic and cultural well being of our community. Please join me by voting yes to the school bond and levy.
