MARYSVILLE — The Ken Baxter Senior Community Center invites the community to attend an “Artistry in Nature” art show Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This third annual gallery-style art showing will feature artists from the Senior Community Center itself, who created their pieces while attending the Senior Center’s art classes.
In line with the art show’s theme, the materials used to create the art will include gourds, watercolors, driftwood sculptures and woodcarvings.
“I think people will be very impressed by the quality of the work of these talented artists,” Ken Baxter Senior Community Center Manager Maryke Burgess said. “They should really appreciate the artistry and the use of natural materials.”
The Ken Baxter Senior Community Center is located at 514 Delta Avenue. For more information, call 360-363-8450.
