La Conner — A Seven Lakes area resident, Nancy Dean makes amazing wool hats with tiny little birds sculpted into the felted wool, and they will be available at the Museum of Northwest Art’s annual fundraiser, MoNA Style, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 7.

Dean joins 25 artists from the region who design and make clothing, jewelry, textiles and accessories for the body and home. MoNA Style has added new features this year. A silent auction and a raffle will be offered to tempt the shopper and models showing artists’ creations can be seen modeling the works at four local restaurants during lunch.

Admission to MoNA Style is free and proceeds from sales, after commissions to the artists, support the museum’s education programs and exhibitions.
