They say all good things must come to an end and so goes the "Taste of the Times" recipe column that we have enjoyed doing for over a year now. We have both decided to go into semi-retirement which will give us both more time to experiment with our recipes even more.

We have really enjoyed all of our reader support on making "The Taste of Times" a huge success. We have received lots of feedback and look forward each week to seeing what recipes our readers have sent us.

With starting any new adventure we had a few mix-ups (the cream cheese frosting with no cream cheese) which is only natural, but our readers knew whom to call to get their questions answered.

Again we want to thank all of you for making the "The Taste of the Times" a huge success and would like to leave our fans with one final recipe:

A Friendship Recipe

Start with smiles, a generous share

Then blend in warmth and laughter

Add lots of happy memories

Those will last forever

Don't forget the patience

For the days when things go wrong

Add a sense of humor

And a trust that's deep and strong

Garnished with some complements

Lovingly expressed

And there you have a recipe for

Friendship at its best!

Bon Appetit!
