MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Parks and Recreation Department is offering belly dancing and Facebook classes in September.

Belly Dance with Astarte

Discover the world of belly dance with Astarte. You will learn about the music, culture, dances and movement from Egypt, Spain, Turkey and India.  This five-week class will be held from 8-9 p.m. on Mondays, Sept. 26 through Oct. 24, at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The class cost is $54.

Facebook Frenzy

It seems like everyone around you is using Facebook but you just don’t know where to start. Join instructor Kim Reynolds as you learn how to set up your own Facebook page. This workshop will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The class cost is $29.
