Marysville Parks Department offers classes

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of classes in September.

Kindermusik Classes begin Sept. 13

Your little ones, ages 0-7, will love exploring the world of music and movement in Kindermusik. These wonderful classes taught by Chris Floyd and Shelley Metcalf will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning on Sept. 13 at the Marysville Library, 6120 Grove. Many class times are available.  Pre-registration is required.

Square Dance, Modern Western

Learn modern square dance while you socialize and make new friends. Join the Happy Hoppers on Monday evenings from 7-9 p.m. beginning Sept. 12 for 10 weeks of fun. The class cost is $60 and will be held at the Totem Middle School Cafeteria, 1605 7th St. NE. Pre-registration is required.

Brazilian Embroidery – Summer Bouquet

Learn this unique form of embroidery with instructor Joan Stevens.  This four-week class will be held from 9-11 a.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 20 to Oct. 11 at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The class cost is $50 with a material fee of $25. Pre-registration is required.
