Next ‘Relay Rally’ set for April 8 in Arlington

ARLINGTON — After they helped “Paint the Town Purple” on Saturday, March 22, the organizers and participants of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for Arlington are inviting current and prospective volunteers to their next “Relay Rally” meeting from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, located at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd. in Arlington.

As of Thursday, April 3, the Arlington Relay has recruited 248 participants in 48 teams, who have raised $34,435.81 for the American Cancer Society.

Those who are hankering for more Relay events in the month of April need only show up to the parking lot of the Haggen Food & Pharmacy, located at 20115 74th Ave. NE in Arlington, for the “Purple Block Party” on Saturday, April 19.
