Arc of Snohomish County's Legislative Forum set for Dec. 3

EVERETT — The Arc of Snohomish County's Parent/Family Coalition is inviting community members to its 2013 Legislative Forum on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Weyerhaeuser Room on the fourth floor of the Everett Station at 3201 Smith Ave.

This is your opportunity to meet your Snohomish County legislators, and hear their views on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Your personal stories and connections with your legislators can make a difference.

For more than 60 years, the Arc of Snohomish County has been a family-focused grassroots organization, which also aims to serve as the leading expert resource for media, business and government about people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc's annual Legislative Forum will afford lawmakers the opportunity to talk to their constituents about the challenges they face in their quest to be fully included in their communities.
