Oxy Gene takes Double-Tall to 'Merrysville' parade

MARYSVILLE — Community Transit superhero Oxy Gene will ride a Double-Tall double-decker bus at the "Merrysville for the Holidays" Electric Lights Parade at Comeford Park in Marysville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

The parade is an annual holiday celebration for Snohomish County residents and Oxy Gene — defender of truth, justice and really clean air — regularly makes an appearance.

Attendees will have the chance to get in the holiday spirit by joining Oxy, Santa and local service clubs, sports organizations and businesses at the celebration. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by an outdoor family concert and the lighting of the Marysville water tower, as well as accompanied by food vendors and holiday bonfires.
