Construction closes Community Transit stop in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Due to sidewalk construction activities, the southbound bus stop on the I-5 on-ramp at Fourth Street in Mayrsville will be closed for approximately six weeks starting Monday, Aug. 29. Buses will not be able to serve the stop during that time.

During the closure, the closest stop for southbound Routes 201/202, 227, 421 and 821 will be the bus stop on westbound 4th Street and Beach Avenue, near the Shell gas station (Stop ID No. 2465). Please board or de-board at that stop.

Route 422 trips to Seattle will not be stopping at Fourth Street in Marysville during the closure. If a stop in Marysville is requested by a customer already on the bus, it will exit I-5 and serve the Fourth and Beach stop noted above.

To catch a bus to Lynnwood or Seattle during construction, please board Route 422 at the I-5 and 116th Street flyer stop or take commuter Route 421 from one of the following alternate stops in Marysville:

  • Westbound Fourth Street and Beach Avenue (ID No. 2465)
  • Ash Avenue Park and Ride
  • Cedar and Grove Park & Ride Bay 1

Northbound trips of Route 422 will continue to serve the regular northbound I-5 and Fourth Street flyer stop throughout construction.
