MARYSVILLE — Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna visited the city of Marysville on May 11, meeting with Marysville Mayor Jon Nehring for a tour of a local cutting-edge green businesses and a roundtable discussion with community and business leaders.

McKenna toured Marysville business Silicon Energy, a manufacturer of solar power and panel systems, then met with more than 20 business and community leaders at the Marysville City Hall to hear their issues and concerns.

McKenna's first stop of the day was at the Marysville Noon Rotary Club weekly luncheon, where he was the featured speaker. Nehring and McKenna both deemed the visit a success, and hope that it is the first of more such visits.
