TULALIP — The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce wants the public to know that their candidate forum between U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen and Snohomish County Council member John Koster is still planned Oct. 22 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Tulalip Resort Casino.
According to Chamber President and CEO Caldie Rogers, this message is being sent to clarify any confusion that might have been created by the Oct. 20 Daily Herald story, "Koster Drops TV Debate with Larsen," which ended with the sentence, "Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce was scheduled to host a debate between Koster and Larsen between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. at the Canoes Cabaret at the Tulalip Resort Casino."
Doors open at 7 a.m. for the Business Before Hours meeting, with the forum set to kick off at 7:30 a.m. The cost of the breakfast forum is $23 for pre-registered guests or $28 at the door. The Chamber is anticipating a capacity crowd, making advanced reservations critical for attendees. Reservations can be made by calling the Chamber at 360-659-7700 or sending an e-mail to Bill@MarysvilleTulalipChamber.com.
