January 13, 2010 · Updated 3:04 PM
EVERETT — The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce is still offering scholarships to Everett Community College's SuperHost Training Seminars, which are normally priced $99 apiece.
The Chamber is touting SuperHost as an opportunity for businesses to obtain information, tips and ideas on capitalizing on the increased traffic that will be brought to the North Snohomish County area by the Vancouver Olympics.
One person per company is currently eligible for these scholarships and space is limited, as slots are filled per RSVP on a first-come, first-served basis.
Classes take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour off for lunch each day, in the Everett Community College Corporate Training Center, located at 2333 Seaway Blvd. in Everett. There are four openings left for Jan. 14, 12 openings left for Jan. 16, three openings left for Jan. 21, and 23 openings left for Jan. 23.
Each class is intended to accommodate a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 students each. Different day arrangements may have to be made if certain classes are at risk of being overbooked or under-represented.
For more information or to RSVP, contact Bill Wheaton at the Chamber, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by phone at 360-659-7700, or via e-mail at billw@marysvilletulalipchamber.com.
